We bring the party to you! We will cater your event, specified to your needs. Just show us where you want the party, and we do the rest. Because we are an outdoor venue, we will discuss our suggestions for a backup plan, should the weather become challenging. We have made pizzas in the snow, rain, a tornado watch, and hail. Thankfully, we have never had to cancel a party.
Prior to your event, we will meet with you to decide on where to place the oven, buffet table, and other supplies. We can help you decide how many pizzas to order, depending on what other foods you will be having. We usually bring about 10 extra dough balls to accommodate possible overages that sometimes occur.
Above all, we create an experience. We want you and your guests to enjoy our food, and the atmosphere. Feel free to ask us questions while we are cooking. We enjoy sharing our passion for wood fired pizza, and love to talk about it. We arrive to your location about 1 1/2 hours prior to desired “eating time.” We assemble the oven and ‘fire it up.’ It takes about an hour for the wood to burn down enough to heat the hearth.
We are proud to say that everything is handmade. We make our own dough using imported flour from Italy. Every dough ball is made by hand. Each pie is personally hand-tossed and assembled, then placed in our oven (at a temp of about 800 degrees). The result is a bubbly, crisp, slightly charred crust, that is very flavorful. All ingredients are fresh.
Our menu includes the standard ‘traditional’ pizzas, as well as the artisan style for those who prefer something more unique. We have about 15 different pizzas to pick from, but are open to special requests as well.
When you book your party, we will discuss the hours of your event. For instance, if you have an open house scheduled from 1pm – 5pm, we will adjust our serving based on when people arrive. If a crowd shows up at 5pm, we will continue cooking pizzas. We want to serve fresh, hot pizza, and so we cook when guests arrive. The pizza is served buffet style, so people are able to sample several different kinds at a time.
We are making changes to better serve our clients. We have decided to purchase a second oven. It will have more cooking surface area, to be able to make more pizzas in a shorter amount of time. Depending on the size of your party, we can make a choice of which oven to use.
We can still provide the personal, intimate gathering you desire. Both Brian and Eileen will be the caterers – no substitutes. We take pride in providing a personalized, quality service. Your contract is with us – not some other employees. We value your business and appreciate our clients’ loyalty to us.
No Mess Left Behind
At the conclusion of your event, we will need about an hour for the oven to cool down, before we can pack that away. We strive to leave your location in the condition in which we found it. You will not have to do anything to “clean up” our location.
